The Father Christmas Trap

The kids Andrew, Christopher and Sarah, were getting ready for Christmas.  They looked at their socks when Christopher said,  "our socks are too small."

So then Sarah said, "what about Dad's sailor socks."

 So Christopher went to his Dad's Room and got his Dad's socks.  He was very fast at getting them.  Then he said, "Daddy's sailing socks are very big ," as he dropped them on the ground. Sarah was signing her name on her wish list and in a while she was finished and then she said, "Oh help, I've still got to hang up my Christmas stocking." Then Andrew gave her some plasticine.   

Then Christopher said, "let's set up a trap for Father Christmas."  So they put all their toys all around the house and tried to catch him.  My favourite person was Sarah.

The Cat in the Hat

I think this book is interesting but it was really easy. The Cat in the Hat book was a good book to read and very funny. My favourite caricature was the fish because he is really funny and he always shouts at the cat and thinks the cat should go out of their house. Sally and Conrad were shocked that the fish could talk and that the cat was here. They didn't know what to do when their Mum gets home.

Then he says, "come on let's play." Then he went to get a box and the box had a big lock on it. So he got the key and opened the box and out came two things. Called Thing One and Thing Two, they were running around like crazy and whenever they tell them to stop they don't listen and they keep on going. They broke all the glasses. And they ruin their Mum's brand new dress. It was dirty and stained. Her clothes were all dirty. Thing one and Thing two had messed up all the things in the house that day. Sally and Conrad's Mum went to work and their Mum got them a babysitter. She was an old Lady. When their Mum went to work their babysitter went to sleep that day and that's when it all happened. That's when The Cat in the Hat came.

Drama Queen

Her Mum's and Dad's homes are different because at her mum's house they eat healthy and at her dad's house they always order takeaways every night like hamburgers, chips and pizza. One day she went for a walk past the pet shop and saw a box saying "we need someone to love. Please take us home with you." She went home and asked her Mum if she could get a puppy but her Mum said she already had a cat and it would be to hard to look after them both. So she went up to her room and she was crying. When her baby sitter came to her house she was telling him about the puppies and how she couldn't get one. The next day she went to her Dad's house and she wanted her Dad to come with her and to think about getting a puppy. They went walking towards the pet store and then her Dad's phone rang and he had to go somewhere and Drama Queen got really up set that her Dad didn't see the puppies. She tried to distract her Dad but it didn't work. When her babysitter came and he said, "if you want a puppy you'd better start learning how to look after them." So Leo brought Haystack his mother's dog and she was giving him baths and feeding him. Then she took Haystack for a walk and when he went toilet she didn't want to pick it up but she had to anyway and then she said why can't they go in a toilet The end
